Customized Farmland is an innovative online-to-offline farmland leasing platform designed by Xiaoshuai Jing and Huicong Hu, aiming to integrate rural agriculture and human resources. This platform adopts a novel framework that includes land leasing, agriculture, rural tourism, 5G broadcasting, online marketing, and online donation modules, providing new opportunities for urban residents to invest in agriculture and utilize rural resources effectively.

The project, which commenced in December 2019 and concluded in September 2020 in Shenzhen, China, was developed for the iOS system. The design process involved extensive user-centered research, including depth interviews and heuristic evaluations, to ensure the platform meets the diverse needs of urban users and effectively balances the relationships between various partners involved.

Customized Farmland offers a unique user experience, allowing users to lease different types of land, browse and select nearby land, view real-time plant growth through 5G live streams, participate in agricultural experience activities, trade agricultural products, and even donate harvested products to contribute to society. This platform not only promotes rural revitalization but also opens new opportunities for urban agricultural investments, marking a significant step towards intelligent agriculture in China.
