FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wei-Chen Lin's Dining Time project is a remarkable transformation of a 30-year-old house into a 357-square-meter, two-story European vintage restaurant. The design concept was inspired by a male watch, incorporating gentlemanly lines and elegant colors to create a unique atmosphere. The restaurant offers a departure from the chaotic hot pot dining experience, with clean, fresh, and bright spaces on the first and second floors, providing an ideal setting for customers to enjoy quality time with their loved ones.
The design is characterized by the use of blue and gold tones, cultural stone, and vintage trim to convey an elegant and classic ambiance. The space features wave panels, curved lines, and mood lighting, evoking the image of an English gentleman waiting for his lady, symbolizing the anticipation of a romantic dining experience. The project's technical specifications include a total capacity of 110 people, with the first floor designed to exude a bright gentlemanly impression, while the second floor offers a comfortable and elegant dining space.
The project's completion in September 2021 marked the successful realization of Wei-Chen Lin's vision for a unique European vintage restaurant, offering a distinctive dining experience for patrons in Taiwan. The project was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach that meets professional and industrial requirements.
