Yi Qi & Chen XuanZuo Introduce The Sweety, a Novel Interactive Experience for Weddings
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Yi Qi & Chen XuanZuo have unveiled The Sweety, a one-of-a-kind candy jar inspired by traditional Chinese wedding customs. The Sweety is not just a candy jar, but also a seal, designed to bring joy and create lasting memories. The designers observed children's preferences and created three unique candy jars in the form of lanterns, diamonds, and balloons, each featuring a seal related to wedding patterns. The Sweety is designed to be a decorative piece for weddings and a delightful toy for children, leaving a pattern on their hands every time a candy is taken out.
The Sweety is made using PC injection technology and measures 60mm in width, 60mm in depth, and 100mm in height. When pushed down, the internal space of The Sweety is pieced together, forming a complete figure with the seals. Upon release, the seals stagger, allowing the candies to fall, creating a double surprise. The jars can also be unscrewed to hold different types of candies, ensuring the happiness never disappears.
Completed in HuNan in January 2020, The Sweety is the result of extensive research focused on creating a new way to open sugar bowls, making them more shareable. The design seamlessly blends Eastern and Western elements, serving as an important decoration for weddings. The innovative approach aims to bring a novel interactive experience to wedding ceremonies, allowing guests to print symbols of joy on their faces, hands, or paper, and receive a beautiful wish that can be passed on.
