Triathlon Bikes PD: A Prototype TT Bicycle

Lachezar Ivanov introduces the Triathlon Bikes PD, a prototype TT bicycle designed specifically for professional athletes participating in triathlons. The frame, made from Autoclave Composit materials and Carbon monocoque, is inspired by the fierce Spanish bull breed Miura, showcasing sharp lines and a competitive profile. Weighing only 6.3 kilos, this bicycle is one of the strongest and lightest TT bikes globally, designed to meet the specific needs of professional cyclists in triathlon competitions.

Under the monocoque carbon frame, the muscular body of the Miura is highlighted, emphasizing the competitive profile of the frame. The development of the bicycle prototype is attributed to the Bulgarian design studio Paradox Design Base, led by Lachezar Ivanov, an experienced product designer with a demonstrated work experience in the field of Arts and Design, Product Design, Design Engineering, Bicycle Design, Automotive Design, and Logo Design. With more than 400 of his products realized in serial and mass production, Ivanov's expertise shines through in the Triathlon Bikes PD.

The design of the frame is inspired by the silhouette of Miura bulls, intertwining their muscles and skeletal system with the latest technologies in the cycling industry. The challenge in the project was to save the character of the ferocious bull "Miura" under the bicycle frame, and the result is a remarkable blend of strength, innovation, and artistic skill.
