Xiaoshu Zhou's Intangible Heritage Illustration Project

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Intangible Heritage Illustration Series by Xiaoshu Zhou

Xiaoshu Zhou, a graduate student of Northeastern University Art College, has creatively depicted China's intangible cultural heritage through a series of illustrations. The project, launched in China 2022, focuses on the Zigong Lantern Festival, Pipa Art, and Longquan Celadon, transforming these valuable traditions into modern design language using computer technology. The illustrations aim to spread China's traditional culture through various mediums, including the internet, print media, books, and photo albums.

The series showcases the fusion of computer technology and traditional art, highlighting the essence of these cultural treasures with creativity and application. Each illustration, drawn using vector design software, features super-high-level printing technology, emphasizing exquisite details and visual impact.

Through this project, Xiaoshu Zhou aims to attract public interest in China's intangible cultural heritage by combining modern aesthetic illustrations with traditional culture. The series serves as a creative and innovative way to promote and preserve these cultural legacies, offering a fresh perspective that aligns with modern aesthetics.
