Weifan Li Interior Design Unveils Tranquil Japanese Muji Style Residence in Taoyuan City, Taiwan
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Weifan Li Interior Design presents "Fun Wooden Sentiment," a tranquil single-story residence in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, completed in June 2021. Inspired by the primitive, elegant, conservative yet warm Japanese Muji style, the project embodies a blend of classic Japanese ambience and modern functionality.
The 80-square-meter space features a central axis defined by a large wooden surface, integrating circulation openings leading to the master bedroom. The living room boasts a 3D television wall reminiscent of a torii, symbolizing sincere blessings for a safe home.
A customized L-shaped dining counter with imported thin tiles and rounded corners in the bedrooms ensures both aesthetic appeal and safety. The ingenious ceiling designs in the living and dining rooms integrate air-conditioning, lighting, and wooden beams, creating a seamless and functional living space.
The project's unique features include mountain-shaped bed headboards, color-themed kids' rooms, and bold attempts such as the 3D styled dining zone ceiling and a high closet with a slanted design in the master's bedroom.
Weifan Li Interior Design's meticulous attention to detail and insistence on following construction drawings have earned them the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2022 for their well-designed, practical, and innovative creation.
