PinTheTime: Redefining Time Management with a 24-Hour Planner Clock

Farshad Saffari Ghandehari unveils PinTheTime, a groundbreaking 24-hour planner clock designed to transform the way individuals manage their daily schedules. Inspired by the need for a more organized daily timeline, PinTheTime aims to provide a tangible and visually engaging approach to time management in an era dominated by digital distractions.

The innovative PinTheTime clock offers a refreshing alternative to traditional planning apps, allowing users to write down their tasks and pin them to the clock, effectively visualizing their daily priorities. The clock's unique design features a convex felt shape with delicate cross-stitch sewing, creating a calming and visually appealing addition to any space.

Measuring at 500mm x 120mm x 500mm, PinTheTime is a minimal and elegant addition to any environment, blending form and function seamlessly. The clock's interaction is simple yet effective, with wooden pins allowing users to attach papers to the soft surface of the clock face, while a revolving clock hand, operated by an AA battery, indicates the time as it moves around the outline of the clock.

Farshad Saffari Ghandehari, along with the design team including Zahra Ghiasi and Hossein Farsi, embarked on the PinTheTime project in January 2018 in Isfahan, with the design being completed in July 2018. The team's research focused on reimagining the concept of time and its relationship to daily tasks, ultimately leading to the creation of the innovative 24-hour planner clock.

PinTheTime has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2020, celebrating its practicality, innovation, and ability to meet professional and industrial requirements. This accolade acknowledges the clock's integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world through its unique approach to time management.
