Xue Jiang's Redefinition exhibition challenges the concept of standards and measurements through a unique visual language
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Xue Jiang's Redefinition exhibition is a groundbreaking exploration of standards and measurements through a unique visual language. The exhibition, initiated by two young artists, aims to break stereotypes and provoke reflection on the concept of measurement. Through a combination of photography and illustration, the exhibition redefines the standards of beauty and self-expression.
The exhibition features a creative use of transparent PVC cloth and toilet paper roll paper to create a thought-provoking display. Visitors are invited to interact with the artwork, assigning their own meanings to the scale and engaging in experimental collages. By doing so, they redefine their own standards and perceptions of beauty and self-identity.
Xue Jiang's Redefinition project was initiated in November 2020 and completed in January 2021 in Dalian. The exhibition was further showcased at ACX Xinghai Art Center in December 2020, captivating audiences with its innovative approach to challenging societal standards.
