Sky Reaching Pole: A Contemporary Tribute to Tang Dynasty Acrobatics

Renowned artist Lin Lin has unveiled the "Sky Reaching Pole," a contemporary sculpture paying homage to the acrobatics of the Tang Dynasty. The sculpture, standing over four meters tall, reenacts the thrilling high-altitude performances of the Tang actors, bringing to life the grandeur and visual surprises of the ancient era.

The sculpture, made using copper, resin, plating processing, and 316 mirror stainless steel, is a stunning representation of the traditional Chinese classical acrobatic project. It features different figures on various poles, showcasing the excellent acrobatics of the Tang Dynasty and providing guests with a deep cultural experience.

This monumental project, realized by the Atgbeyond Artistic Team led by Lin Lin, was completed in Xi'an, with the W Hotel Xi'an being its permanent home. The sculpture is a winner of the prestigious A' Design Award, recognized for its innovative and practical design that integrates industry best practices.
