Minimalistic Residence "Happiness" by SHISHAN

SHISHAN, a renowned interior design team, has unveiled their latest project, "Happiness," a minimalist residential design located in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The 138.8 square meter apartment, completed in August 2022, was designed to provide a serene and comfortable atmosphere for a doctor and a nurse. The design team, led by Jazmin Lin, incorporated curves, minimalistic lines, and a variety of materials to create a spacious and grand residence that respects the freedom and spiritual independence of its inhabitants.

In the public area, the design team eliminated large pillars, enlarged the entrance, and incorporated curved corners to create a sense of ritual upon entering the home. The spacious living room was designed to encourage interaction among family members, with a unique double-sided cabinet combining the TV wall with the closet in the children's room to revitalize storage and functionality.

The space is based on a color scheme of white, gray, and beige, creating an elegant and harmonious aesthetic. The design team utilized natural stone, wood veneer, and ironwork to form a wonderful highlight in the dining and kitchen areas. The three-bedroom, two-room space was transformed to fully integrate the client's needs, with a focus on creating a relaxed and elegant private area.
