5+2 STUDIO introduces KP.A, an exhibition space in Hefei, China, designed to sell lifestyles from the cereal land, reflecting the region's heritage and modern living. The project began in February 2019 and was completed in July of the same year.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
5+2 STUDIO's KP.A is an exhibition space that embodies the essence of the cereal land, offering a unique perspective on modern living. The space utilizes a large area of wood materials to continue the connection and narrative of the grain crop concept, covering approximately 1000 square meters. The design aims to minimize the commercial intention of the venue and create a relaxed spatial mood.
The space presents a minimalist yet practical atmosphere, featuring a bright light and shadow relationship that creates a space of stereoscopic science and beauty. Both the exterior and interior showcase a creative collection, with the exterior decoration logo creating a unique visual impression, while the internal space lining exudes a soft and delicate atmosphere.
Recognized for its outstanding expertise and innovation, the KP.A Exhibition Space Design was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2020. This accolade celebrates the design's strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, introducing positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
