Secret Tarts: Redefining Cannabis Infused Pills Packaging

GarryVeda design Bureau (c) introduces Secret Tarts, a cannabis-infused pills packaging design that seamlessly blends retro aesthetics with modern functionality. Inspired by old-school packaging solutions from Western Europe, the design exudes a vintage charm while effectively conveying the product's contemporary appeal. Developed for GreenRevolution Co. USA, the aluminum can packed in a carton box with a hangtag contains cannabis-infused chewing pills for medication and relaxation purposes. The design showcases a meticulous visual structure that harmoniously integrates text and illustrative elements, emphasizing the product's artisanal quality and hand-crafted recipe.

The packaging design process involved the use of Adobe software to create a round label for the aluminum can and the carton box layout. The design specifications include a 65mm diameter round sticker and a carton box measuring 123mm in height (including a 50mm hanging tag) and 72mm in width. The project commenced in July 2019 and spanned over two months, with a focus on developing additional SKUs in subsequent stages.

One of the key challenges in creating the Secret Tarts packaging was to stand out in the competitive cannabis-infused products market in the US. The design successfully captures the essence of a modernized retro/vintage style, evoking a sense of masterful craftsmanship and expertise while delivering a visually captivating product presentation.

The Secret Tarts packaging design not only embodies the designer's creative vision but also reflects the team's dedication to creating exceptional designs that resonate with global audiences. The design was honored with the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category in 2020, recognizing its outstanding contribution to art, science, and technology.
