Amos Goh's Passerine chair is a sustainable and durable seating solution that embodies modern charm and unassuming characteristics. Inspired by the perching behavior of birds, the unique joinery of the backrest gives the chair a distinctive appearance, resembling perching on metal branches. The chair's approach to design prioritizes sustainability and durability, resulting in a well-balanced form with honest materials and pragmatic utility.

The chair's construction techniques involve the use of uncoated stainless steel, bent ply, and latex cushions upholstered with leather, all chosen for their durability and lower environmental impact. The materials and processes used in creating the Passerine chair are future-proofed for a lifetime of use, ensuring peace of mind for its users.

With dimensions of 520mm width, 800mm height, and 485mm depth, the Passerine chair is designed for various settings, including home, dining, and office spaces. Its stackable design adds to its versatility, making it a practical choice for different environments.

Amos Goh's design journey for the Passerine chair began in June 2021 and culminated in its completion in January 2022, all taking place in Singapore. The chair's design reflects a progressive approach, considering the importance of sustainability and environmental preservation in today's world.

Recognizing the innovative and sustainable nature of the Passerine chair, it was awarded the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2022. This accolade highlights the chair's outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence in design.
