Viacheslav Pytailo, the renowned designer from Kyiv, Ukraine, has unveiled the Royal Apartment, a stunning living space that seamlessly combines comfort, simplicity, and luxury. The design, inspired by contemporary art, offers a unique blend of functionality and opulence, creating a space that any modern individual would aspire to call home.

The SKS studio team completed the design project and turnkey repair of the 64-square-meter apartment in 2019, located in the heart of Kiev, Ukraine. The apartment features a spacious 33-square-meter kitchen studio, a cozy bedroom, two large closets, a dressing room at the entrance, and a meticulously designed bathroom. The interior is characterized by a modern classic style with elements of gold, complemented by exquisite paintings by Ukrainian artists adorning the walls.

The Royal Apartment boasts a meticulous attention to detail, with handmade furniture pieces, including coffee and dining tables, alongside exquisite Italian factory-made furnishings. The walls are adorned with Venetian stucco and specially selected marble that harmonizes with the kitchen facades and floor tiles. The bedroom exudes a sense of coziness with custom fabric panels adorning the ceiling, while the bathroom is equipped with carefully chosen Italian plumbing, seamlessly integrated with the mosaic design.

The design project, realized over a span of four months, presented several challenges, including the need to optimize the apartment's layout to maximize space utilization. The SKS studio team successfully re-planned the space, ensuring the incorporation of an independent dressing room and ample storage while enhancing natural light flow throughout the living area.
