The Modernizm collection, inspired by the aesthetics of the 1920s and 1930s, offers a combination of tradition and innovation, creating a versatile and durable solution for interior and exterior spaces.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ceramika Paradyz, in collaboration with designer Maja Ganszyniec, presents Modernizm, a collection of ceramic tiles that draws inspiration from the timeless aesthetics of the 1920s and 1930s. The collection features a range of abstract, geometric mosaics that can be freely combined to create unique patterns, offering a nod to the past while fitting seamlessly into modern spaces. With a focus on subdued colors, the collection is designed for both utility and home interiors, providing a perfect blend of tradition and innovation.
Modernizm stands out with its rediscovered corset tiles, small ceramic cubes with characteristic notches and embossments, offering a variety of patterns, formats, and colors for freedom of arrangement. The tiles are suitable for both floors and walls, making them ideal for a wide range of spaces, from buildings under conservation protection to modern restaurants, shops, and home interiors.
Utilizing mass-colored stoneware, the Modernizm tiles are exceptionally durable and resistant, suitable for both interior and exterior applications. The collection includes a range of specifications, including rectification, frost resistance, and various tile formats, providing flexibility for different design requirements.
The Modernizm collection has been available for sale since October 2019, with its release taking place during the Warsaw Home, the largest international interior design fair in Central and Eastern Europe. The design process involved thorough research into pre-war patterns and corset tiles, ensuring that the collection reflects the nature of the past while meeting contemporary interior design standards.
The Modernizm collection has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Building Materials and Construction Components Design category in 2020, highlighting its outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that contribute to quality of life improvements.
