Chen Fengfeng and Jiang Baoyi Unveil Their Latest Project, Beile Hotpot, Showcasing the Fusion of Traditional Chinese Architecture and Modern Dining

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Beile Hotpot: A Modern Interpretation of Traditional Chinese Architecture

Chen Fengfeng and Jiang Baoyi have unveiled their latest project, Beile Hotpot, a stunning fusion of traditional Chinese architectural elements and modern dining space. The design draws inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the Chinese nation, incorporating the unique architectural techniques of the Qing Dynasty to create a visually captivating dining experience.

The 260 square meter space features intricate details such as the tenon-and-tenon structure of ancient roof ridges, symmetrical spatial patterns, and the use of Chinese classical art techniques. The designers have skillfully integrated traditional Chinese elements, including the use of soft film pervious to light hand-painted landscape paintings, to reflect the spirit of the Qing Dynasty garden.

Beile Hotpot introduces the Qing Dynasty Chinese architectural style into the space, creating a daily life reminiscent of old Beijing with red walls and yellow tiles. The interior space exudes the warmth of cinnabar, the mystery of phthalein blue, and the nobility of red gold, creating an atmosphere of new Chinese style.

The project, completed in September 2019 in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, China, has received acclaim, winning the Silver A' Design Award in 2020 for Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. This prestigious award recognizes the project's outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence.

Chen Fengfeng and Jiang Baoyi are committed to researching the application and innovation in architectural space, expressing design concepts with personalized and unique visual language. Their work aims to dissolve and coexist contemporary, cultural, and artistic design elements, interpreting multiculturalism with a brand-new visual communication.
