Cassiano Saldanha presents Modello 09, a limited edition chair inspired by Brazilian Modernism and Tropicalism, paying homage to renowned designers Isay Winfield, Carlos Motta, and Lina Bo Bardi. Crafted with a philosophy of environmental respect and handcrafted love, this chair uniquely embraces natural marks and bruises as badges of honor, embodying the essence of limited edition artwork.

Modello 09 stands out with its suspension design, creating an illusionary loop that connects the seat, legs, back, and arms in a distinctive manner. Constructed with solid Burmese hardwood teak, brass, and cane webbing, this chair celebrates the essence of mobili brasiliani with its geometric construction and selected material combination, offering a resistant and strong build.

Utilizing a combination of rough hardwood, cane fiber, and brass, the manufacturing process of Modello 09 showcases a careful construction with epoxy glue, notches, and sockets, finished with a special mixture of Bees Wax and Teak Oil. The result is a unique straight angled shape that offers improved usability and ergonomics, making it a standout piece of furniture.
