Unilever Homebase Vietnam: A Unique Agile Workspace

Unilever Homebase Vietnam, designed by ADP Group, is a 9000sqm agile workplace that immerses the brand stories of Unilever to create an environment where employees can feel and live with the brand. The workspace concept, 'Funky Town,' enables staff to connect and collaborate in a dynamic way. One unique area is the central hub with a cafeteria surrounded by a large open discussion area on three floors, connected by a void that utilizes natural light to bring people together.

ADP applied the activity-based working model for Unilever Homebase, reducing the number of fixed desks and increasing a variety of other work settings such as open meeting spaces and private zones to amplify collaboration. This transformation empowers staff to work better and optimizes the space, accommodating an increase in headcount from 800 to 1000 in the same area.

The Unilever Homebase project started in August 2019 and was completed in January 2020 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. ADP overcame the challenge of turning an old-constructed building into a modern workplace that embraces the agile working model to empower staff to work and be inspired better.
