Anydrop: Geofencing-Based Information Interaction Platform

Junyi Yi's innovative project, Anydrop, reimagines information interaction by linking information to physical space, inspired by the metaverse. Anydrop is a geofencing-based platform that projects information to specific geographical locations, revolutionizing the way information is delivered and accessed.

Anydrop filters recipients by location, ensuring that information seamlessly integrates with its scene and is delivered to those in need. This groundbreaking approach enhances user experience by enabling interaction with physical items through the platform.

The core technology of Anydrop is geofencing, which creates a virtual perimeter for real-world geographic areas, dynamically delivering information to users' devices based on their location. This precise information delivery offers a brand-new user experience, catering to various smart devices and screen sizes.

Junyi Yi and the 5:12 designing group conducted extensive research to identify pain points in traditional information interaction, leading to the creative use of location as a new carrier of information exchange. The project, which commenced in September 2021 and concluded in January 2022 in Beijing, culminated in the prestigious A' Design Award, where Anydrop was recognized for its practical and innovative approach to information interaction.

Junyi Yi, a junior at Beihang University majoring in Industrial Design, and the 5:12 designing group have already garnered recognition in domestic competitions, and their participation in the A' Design Award marks their international debut. With a passion for design and a commitment to making a difference in society, Junyi Yi and the team aim to bring a better life to the people through their endless creativity and innovative designs.
