Yiming Ma's "Flowers"

Yiming Ma's "Flowers" is a visually stunning pattern design project inspired by the One Belt, One Road initiative. The project aims to convey the profound connotations behind traditional Chinese culture through the integration of kaleidoscopic graphic combinations and dome structures. The series consists of three paintings, each representing important nodes of the ancient Silk Road, showcasing mosques, European and Chinese dome features, and cultural symbols.

The unique properties of this work lie in its thematic representation of the One Belt, One Road initiative, combining kaleidoscopic graphic structures with domes of different countries. The series explores the connotations behind different civilizations and aims to provoke incremental thinking about modern design culture development.

The pattern structure of the works is meticulously crafted using hand sketching, Adobe AI, and Adobe PS. The colors are extracted from the images of the cultural styles they represent, resulting in visually striking and culturally rich designs.
