Chuanjin Sun's Fuzhou Zhimu

Located in the sub-tropical region of Fuzhou, China, the Fuzhou Zhimu project by Chuanjin Sun draws inspiration from the city's rich history and culture, particularly its love for tea and bamboo. The design aims to create a tranquil and peaceful environment, offering a hidden retreat from the pressures of urban life.

The spa's unique feature includes a natural landscape in front of the entrance, designed with ecological principles to guide guests through a ritualistic path, gradually transitioning them from the bustling outside world to a serene, sheltered space.

Utilizing original stone, wood, and metal, the reception area is designed to immerse visitors in a lifelike bamboo forest experience, complete with fog effects, providing a unique and calming ambiance.

Chuanjin Sun's team, including Qiang Hu and Hangdi Xu, overcame various challenges, including the need to balance brand communication and user experience within an office building setting. The project was completed in January 2019 and finished in August 2019, after meticulous attention to detail and repeated deliberations on the design scheme.

Chuanjin Sun, a young interior designer and design director of F+ Space design, has been recognized for his professional ability and rigorous attitude. His Fuzhou Zhimu project was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, showcasing his creative ingenuity and commitment to quality design.
