Zuo Zuo Limited Introduces Plover: A Multi-Purpose Chair Collection

Zuo Zuo Limited proudly presents Plover, a multi-purpose chair collection designed to inspire freedom of posture and co-creation. Co-created by architect Eravolution Limited and a group of THEi product design students, Plover captures the free spirit of birds and their duality of solitary and social nature. The collection was first launched in 2019 at the China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) in March 2019.

The Plover chairs are designed for workshop and seminar events, where they can be used individually or collectively to aid brainstorming and co-creation. The collection encourages the freedom of different sitting postures, offering various concepts including conventional front-facing seating, horse-riding back-to-front seating, side seating, high-level seating, and two-tier seating.

The characteristic feature of the Plover Chair is the integrated tablet, providing a small work surface for users in various settings, such as conventional classroom arrangements or group discussions. This innovative design overcomes the challenge of providing versatile work surfaces while maintaining a sleek and functional aesthetic.
