Journey Mate is a smart modular backpack that revolutionizes the travel experience. Its innovative features include a smart module that allows travelers to collect sound samples of local languages by communicating with individuals, creating a pleasant multi-sensory interaction. All sounds are visualized as waveform diagrams and collected into a personal Urban Sound Library, providing a sense of acquisition. The modular structure offers users a sense of control, making it easy to store and carry throughout the day.

To realize the design, the implementation of the algorithm promotes the generation of sound waves via sound recognition and analysis algorithm models. The materials used include 100% recycled polyester for the body of the bags and leather for details such as zippers and buckles. The backpack measures 505*300*160 mm, with a capacity of 20L, and can be used as both a backpack and a shoulder bag.
