Gen Design Studio proudly presents Tranquil Residence, a five-story detached house designed to encapsulate the essence of home, offering a serene and harmonious living space for a family in Anping District, Tainan, Taiwan. Completed in October 2018, this project is a testament to the studio's commitment to creating spaces that exude warmth, simplicity, and functionality.

The nearly 150m2 residence is a testament to the studio's dedication to crafting a space that embodies the true spirit of home. The design seamlessly integrates the preferences of each family member, creating private spaces while fostering interaction in the public areas. The use of light color tones, timber, rough stone tiles, and iron materials enhances the warm and inviting atmosphere, ensuring a perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality.

Tranquil Residence boasts a thoughtful layout, featuring a living room, dining room, kitchen, two master bedrooms, a bedroom, and a study. The design prioritizes the creation of individual sanctuaries for each family member, while the public spaces are adorned with light color tones, timber, and rough surface tiles, fostering a cozy ambiance. Additionally, dedicated reading spaces are integrated into both private and public areas, catering to the family's love for literature.
