Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen Introduces All Here, a Mobile Application Designed to Maintain Intimate Relationships Across Distances
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen introduces "All Here," a groundbreaking mobile application designed to help users maintain long-distance intimate relationships. The application focuses on creating scenario-based and emotional social networking platforms, providing a more experiential social platform for intimate relationships.
All Here is an online virtual social platform that aims to create a social atmosphere with a sense of scenario realism through virtual images and rooms. It is designed to help users maintain intimate relationships by facilitating emotional expression, gesture interaction, common tasks, and interactive memories.
The application, designed for the iOS system, offers a unique solution for maintaining long-distance intimacy, especially during times of epidemic lockdowns and time differences. It provides a new design approach for mobile social design, integrating emotional design and user experience to create a more immersive and meaningful interaction for users.
At the conceptual design phase, the team utilized brainstorming, mind mapping, and scene interviews. The detailed design phase involved the use of Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Experience Design. All Here is the result of extensive user-centered design research, incorporating user concerns and needs for long-distance intimacy maintenance, as well as heuristic evaluation to optimize the design.
Designed to simulate real-life situations, All Here allows users to create avatars and virtual rooms to interact with friends, share schedules, moods, and engage in symbolic interactions. Users can also create common tasks and view interaction memories, providing a comprehensive platform for maintaining intimate relationships.
The project, which began in October 2021 and concluded in January 2022 in Shenzhen, has been recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Mobile Technologies, Applications, and Software Design category. This prestigious accolade acknowledges the practical and innovative nature of All Here, setting a new standard for mobile applications that meet professional and industrial requirements.
