Kolektif: Connecting and Empowering Akbank Employees

Akbank Design Studio, in collaboration with Staff Channels, has unveiled Kolektif, an innovative employee platform designed to keep the dispersed workforce connected and streamline human resources functions. With over 12 thousand employees across Turkey, the platform aims to create a dynamic social media environment while consolidating various human resources functions in a single, user-friendly interface.

Kolektif offers a unique blend of social media and human resources functions, allowing employees to create profiles, interact with colleagues, access announcements, and utilize human resources services. The platform's responsive design and holistic approach to corporate identity ensure a seamless user experience.

Utilizing advanced design and development tools, Kolektif is available for desktop use, providing employees with a comprehensive platform to manage their human resources affairs and engage in social interactions. The project, which began in April 2020, was first released in May 2021 in Istanbul and continues to evolve based on new needs and insights.

Akbank Design Studio conducted extensive research, including workshops, benchmarking studies, and user testing, to ensure that Kolektif meets the diverse needs of its employees and human resources staff. The platform's unique features, such as personalized databases for employee-specific training and activity suggestions, demonstrate its commitment to enhancing the employee experience.

Kolektif has been recognized with the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Website and Web Design category, reflecting its outstanding impact on the world of digital interaction and user experience. The platform's success underscores Akbank Design Studio's dedication to reimagining the banking experience and evolving in line with changing customer expectations and regulatory environments.
