Infinity: Redefining Smart Phone Design

Lu Ni's Infinity smart phone design is a revolutionary blend of art and technology, inspired by Yayoi Kusama's House of Infinite Mirrors. The design uses limited space to express a mood that links illusionary space with the real world, projecting the room with the illusion of infinite space. The phone's lighting effect creates a slim device that presents infinite space, providing consumers with a high level of visual enjoyment.

The Infinity smart phone boasts the industry's first use of infinitely reflective photoelectric technology with artistic characteristics. When the light is turned on, not only does the color change, but users can also experience a 3D three-dimensional light effect, giving the phone a science fiction property. Additionally, the design is interactive, allowing users to see text message alerts without opening the screen.

Measuring at 163mm in length, 76mm in width, and 7.7mm in thickness, the Infinity smart phone is a testament to cutting-edge design and innovation. The design team, led by Lu Ni, has successfully realized this project in Shenzhen, China, from October 2022 to February 2023.

Lu Ni's research on cell phone photoelectric effects led to the development of the 3D stereoscopic overlay technology, a key feature of the Infinity smart phone. Overcoming challenges related to the decay of LED light brightness and the adjustment of coating thickness, the design team has created a visually stunning and technically advanced product.
