Romance of Arc: A Unique Residential Design

Tai Kuan Huang presents "Romance of Arc," a distinctive 889.6 sq.ft residential design in Taiwan. The design concept is inspired by furnishing design and emphasizes the interior finish, featuring arcs on facades, walls, and doors that run through public and private fields to echo each other.

The design's unique strength lies in the careful calculation and spatial connotation of the arcs, which shimmer with charm in various postures in space. The house offers a warm and textured ambiance through the visual and tactile texture of various materials, satisfying the owners' desire for a simple, warm feeling of wood and a natural home atmosphere.

The open kitchen serves as the center of the home, fostering close connections between the living room, dining room, and entryway. The project, which started in April 2022 in Torino and finished in July 2022 in TaoYuan City, Taiwan, was awarded Bronze in A' Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design Award in 2023.
