Ggaedok: A New Approach to Korean Learning

Mirae-N Design Team proudly presents Ggaedok, a groundbreaking study supplement designed to enhance the confidence and reading comprehension ability of Korean learners. Inspired by the shape of Korean consonants and vowels, the logo incorporates quotation marks, adding a touch of visual wit and intuitiveness to the brand's identity.

The unique design of Ggaedok combines the brand name, GGAEDOK, with the acronym GGAEWOOJA DOKHAERYUK, signifying its purpose to awaken confidence and reading comprehension in Korean learners. The use of quotation marks not only adds visual appeal but also introduces an element of fun, with characters appearing in both the vocabulary and reading comprehension books to engage students in the learning process.

Utilizing color foils and Pantone designated colors, Ggaedok's logo and books are meticulously crafted to enhance visibility and provide a harmonious look. The project, which commenced in August 2022 and concluded in November 2022 at Mirae-N's main office in Seoul, reflects the team's dedication to creating innovative and engaging study materials for Korean learners.

The design of Ggaedok has been recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Education, Teaching Aid, and Training Content category, underscoring its exceptional creativity and professional excellence. Mirae-N Design Team's commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and education is evident in the unique and impactful approach of Ggaedok, setting a new standard for study supplements.
