Xiaojie Hu's "Happiness" Brooch and Pendant

Xiaojie Hu presents "Happiness," a stunning brooch and pendant design inspired by the auspicious symbolism of the magpie and the noble character of bamboo in oriental culture. This unique piece integrates traditional cloisonne craft with modern jewelry design, creating a gorgeous and vibrant representation of traditional Oriental characteristics.

The artist's meticulous use of cloisonne brings out rich colors and textures, while the incorporation of gold, silver, diamonds, and emeralds adds a touch of luxury and elegance to the design.

The "Happiness" brooch and pendant can be used for different occasions, adding a touch of oriental charm to any ensemble.

The intricate magpie cloisonne process involves more than ten working procedures, including cutting, carving, inlaying, and high-temperature firing, resulting in a truly unique and precious piece of jewelry. The design's technical specifications include a height of 56cm and the use of cloisonne, gold, silver, diamonds, and emeralds.

The project was designed and produced in Beijing in 2021, taking a total of 2 months to complete. The artist's research and experimentation with the cloisonne craft led to the successful realization of more vivid colors, overcoming the challenges of tradition and creating a distinctive piece of jewelry.

Xiaojie Hu's "Happiness" Brooch and Pendant was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that authentically incorporates traditional craftsmanship with modern artistry.
