Smart Hydro: Redefining Hygiene in Public Spaces

Tive Creative Collective proudly presents Smart Hydro, a revolutionary touchless water dispenser designed to address the heightened hygiene concerns in public areas, particularly in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. By integrating cutting-edge technology, Smart Hydro offers a touch-free solution, utilizing infrared sensors for automatic filling, ensuring a more sanitized and ergonomic user experience.

Smart Hydro's innovative design emphasizes ergonomics and hygiene, setting it apart from conventional water dispensers. With its sleek and modern aesthetic, this smart water dispenser is poised to become an essential product for offices, gyms, and various public spaces.

The product stands at 140 cm in height, with a width of 36 cm and a depth of 40 cm, offering a compact yet impactful solution for public health and safety.

Manufactured using plastic injection for the main body and arc, Smart Hydro leverages the benefits of this production technique, including complex design allowances, reduced weight, and enhanced material strength. Additionally, support parts within the plastic casing are crafted from aluminum sheet, further enhancing the product's durability and functionality.

The interaction with Smart Hydro is seamless and intuitive. Users simply place their container on the designated area, triggering the sensors to initiate water flow. The dispensation continues until the user retrieves the container, minimizing physical contact and elevating the overall hygiene level in shared spaces.

The development of Smart Hydro commenced in May 2020 in Ankara, Turkey, and was successfully completed in January 2021. Throughout the design process, the Tive Creative Collective team conducted extensive research, including user scenario observations, literature reviews on interaction design, and prototype testing to overcome creative and technical challenges.

Recognizing its exceptional innovation and contribution to public health, Smart Hydro was honored with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Hospitality, Restaurant, and Catering Products Design category in 2021. This prestigious accolade acknowledges the product's outstanding design, technical prowess, and commitment to improving the quality of life in public spaces.
