Meng Shenhui's Cloud Mountain Type Design is a unique fusion of traditional Chinese cloud-fog mountains and ancient landscape painting with western typography. The design draws inspiration from Zhangjiajie's breathtaking landscapes, resulting in a font that embodies the essence of both Eastern and Western cultures.

Combining the traditional Chinese clouds landscape with western characters, the Cloud Mountain Type is a testament to Meng Shenhui's innovative approach to type design, offering a fresh perspective on the convergence of different artistic traditions.

Utilizing a combination of Photoshop, Pixelmator software, and hand drawing, the Cloud Mountain Type showcases the designer's meticulous attention to detail and creative realization techniques. The variable size and abstract-concrete nature of the font add to its allure, making it a captivating addition to the world of typography.

The Cloud Mountain Type Design project commenced in 2016 in Beijing and reached its completion in 2021 in Shenzhen. It has been showcased in prominent exhibitions in New York, Berlin, and Seoul, garnering attention for its innovative approach and captivating visual appeal.

Meng Shenhui's Cloud Mountain Type Design has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2022, underscoring its exceptional creativity, technical prowess, and profound artistic significance.
