Renowned designer Dan Wang unveils the Lighten floor lamp, a fusion of traditional Chinese characters and modern lighting design, set to debut at the Korean "Brand and Culture" design exhibition in January 2021.

Dan Wang's Lighten floor lamp draws inspiration from the structure and meaning of the Chinese character for "light," resulting in a unique and aesthetically pleasing lighting solution. The lamp utilizes indirect lighting to create a captivating atmosphere and is crafted from wood and frosted glass, offering a premium look and feel. Its innovative assembly method, based on the tenon-and-mortise principle, allows for easy, tool-free setup.
The production process involves CNC machining for wood components, mechanical sandblasting for the frosted glass, and the use of environmentally friendly glue to embed LED modules. The lamp's dimensions measure 520mm in width, 520mm in depth, and 1700mm in height.
Designed to meet the needs of modern users while honoring traditional cultural elements, the Lighten floor lamp is a testament to the seamless integration of form and function, inspired by the rich heritage of Chinese characters.
