Beijing, China - Renowned designer Xi Lang introduces Greenbay, a homestay project located in Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, offering a unique experience inspired by the surrounding tea fields and original ecology.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Xi Lang's Greenbay project draws inspiration from the undulating tea fields, featuring a main building resembling a floating hexagonal snowflake. The design offers a 270-degree view of the tea fields to the south and the Sichuan-Tibet Railway to the north, creating a serene environment for visitors.
Situated on over 1,700 square meters, the project consists of three main functional areas: a public area, 13 guest rooms, and logistics, with a focus on providing a comfortable and immersive experience for guests while minimizing the impact on the natural surroundings.
The design leverages a combination of wood, white, and grey colors, creating a simple and welcoming atmosphere. The project's unique triangular outdoor atrium serves as a hub space, surrounded by high and low, wide and narrow spatial patterns, offering visitors a sense of comfort and simplicity in a secluded countryside setting.
Greenbay, completed in 2020 and officially opened to the public in 2021, has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building, and Structure Design in 2022, highlighting its outstanding innovation and technical excellence.
Xi Lang's Greenbay project stands as a testament to the harmonious integration of architecture and nature, offering a tranquil retreat for visitors seeking to immerse themselves in the beauty of the tea fields and original ecology.
