Nature-Inspired Residential Design Beijing Golf Palace by Gu Hao

Gu Hao's Beijing Golf Palace is a nature-inspired residential design that seamlessly integrates natural elements into the living space. The project, which commenced in May 2019 and concluded in August 2019, is located in the Third Diplomatic Enclave of Beijing, adjacent to Chaoyang Park and the Beijing Chaoyang Golf Club. The design concept was influenced by the lush surroundings of the area, featuring a harmonious blend of natural elements and high-saturation colors to create a visually stunning ecological environment.

The living room serves as the focal point of the design, adorned with various natural elements and a K'o-ssu tapestry, echoing the beauty of nature through vivid colors. Large French windows were strategically incorporated to connect the interior with the natural landscape, allowing for a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The use of jazz white marble, stone-effect porcelain tiles, three-ply wood panels, and mirrored stainless steel further enhances the natural aesthetic of the residence.

Gu Hao's design approach not only met the challenge of a tight three-month timeframe but also successfully integrated the owner's extensive collection of delicate artworks from around the world. The result is a captivating living space that embodies the owner's passion for art and nature, earning the project the prestigious A' Design Award in 2020.
