Ke Luo's Jizhou: Optometry Clinic Design

Ke Luo's Jizhou design project is a remarkable example of an optometry clinic that seamlessly integrates art, medicine, and commerce. Spanning 877 square meters, the design is inspired by the benevolent ethos of Tianjin Eye Hospital, embodying the essence of "kindheartedness and justice" of Confucianism. The design features a large number of circles, creating a gentle and soft ambiance, while the integration of visual identity colors of Tianjin Eye Hospital enhances the overall aesthetic. The use of green plants, wooden elements, and customized leather sofas further elevates the space, providing a warm and comfortable environment for visitors.

Throughout the project, Ke Luo meticulously communicated with the client, constantly revising the design to ensure it met the highest standards. The design process involved floor transformation, coordination with regulatory authorities, product production, on-site decoration, and soft outfit selection, culminating in a space that perfectly balances functionality and aesthetics.

One of the key challenges of the project was meeting the requirements of commercial, ophthalmic, and clinic design, which are interrelated yet relatively independent. The exterior design was particularly crucial, aiming to attract customers while allowing transparency for passersby to see inside the store.

The design's unique features extend from the exterior to the interior, creating a profound visual effect that seamlessly combines medicine and art. The eye shape at the center, adorned with the visual identity color of Tianjin Eye Hospital, serves as a focal point, surrounded by a contrasting white color scheme. The decorative ceiling on the upper floors follows a similar circular theme, contributing to a warm and inviting environment.

Ke Luo's Jizhou design project received the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach that meets professional and industrial requirements. The project stands as a testament to Ke Luo's expertise in the optical industry, where he has excelled for nearly 30 years, integrating architectural elements and lighting to create captivating and functional spaces.
