Designer Xin Chen Unveils Pure Chair, a Ming-Style Inspired Design

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Designer Xin Chen's Pure Chair Redefines Simplicity and Elegance

Xin Chen's Pure chair draws inspiration from the Ming-style ring chair, embodying the beauty of simplicity and natural elegance. The chair's gentle curves and ergonomic design reflect a harmonious blend of tradition and modern craftsmanship, while the use of tenon-and-mortise structure technology ensures stability and mass production suitability.

Constructed from beech and North American walnut, the Pure chair's dimensions of 597*484*760 (mm) and weight of 4.8 kg make it a versatile and functional addition to any space. The chair's inception in April 2017 in Hangzhou culminated in its completion in August 2019 in Milano, where Xin Chen is currently pursuing a master's degree in product design at Domus Academy.

Xin Chen's design philosophy, rooted in ancient culture, has earned him the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing his commitment to merging traditional crafts with modern aesthetics to create culturally rich and innovative products.
