Award-winning designer Raymond Lee unveils a spa-themed beauty interior in the heart of Hong Kong's business district, redefining the role of the commercial beauty industry with innovative lighting and spatial design.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Located in the bustling business zone of Hong Kong, the Beauty Centre project by Raymond Lee aims to redefine the role of the commercial beauty industry in the local market. The spa-themed interior is designed to infuse the space with peace and serenity, integrating recessed lighting, curvy spatial elements, and delicate landscape design.
Rich spatial experience with the change of time and light is the key to this project. The strategic use of lighting features creates a unique gesture and identity of space, enriching customers' experience with every visit. The 97 square meter space houses seven treatment rooms, a make-up zone, an elegant waiting area, and a linear tunnel entrance, all designed in a human-scale manner.
The Beauty Centre takes advantage of a huge curtain wall as a backdrop, with an L-shaped self-emitting reception located at the center of the space, providing direct visual connection for management and supervision. The project, which started in September 2021 and finished in November 2021, overcame creative and technical challenges to create a spatial experience of fluidity, rhythm, and the use of curves and lighting.
Arti Studio Limited, established in 2020, specializes in residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, offering full design services encompassing interiors, bespoke furniture, and innovative products.
