Residential Interior Design by Chia-Peng Chen

Renowned designer Chia-Peng Chen has unveiled a remarkable residential interior design project titled "Caring Times in a Distinctive Space," which has been awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2020. This project, located in Taichung, Taiwan, is a testament to Chen's innovative approach to environmental protection and good health in interior design.

The design inspiration for this project revolves around the use of grayish white as a keynote color, symbolizing composure and simplicity. By skillfully removing inessential walls and integrating storage into the flow, the design maximizes natural light and eliminates the sense of oppression from the original beams, transforming the space magically.

What sets this design apart is its emphasis on environmental protection and good health, using certified "green" building materials and ensuring full accessibility throughout the space. The deliberate minimization of leather and the organization of space based on functions further highlight the distinctiveness of this living space.
