Dwelling For Inspiration: Sustainable Single Family Residence

Nahian Bin Mahbub introduces a conceptual single-family residence project in Dhaka, Bangladesh, aiming to provide a self-sustainable living space in a densely populated urban environment. The design incorporates elements of nature to create a tranquil and harmonious living environment for the residents.

The project features concrete building facades with integrated plant boxes, wooden door and window frames, and a post-lintel structure. The design includes terraces for every function, promoting interaction between family members and nature, while ponds on the ground floor bring a rural experience to urban life.

This sustainable living space is designed to combat the challenges of urbanization and overpopulation, offering a unique blend of architecture and nature to create a serene and eco-friendly residence in the heart of Dhaka.
