Introducing Holzwolf, a men's wristwatch concept made of natural wood, inspired by the essence, aggressiveness, and elegance of the European forest, designed by Hernani Ruhland Tralli in Gifhorn, Germany.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Holzwolf is a men's wristwatch made of natural wood from sustainable forestry and organic farming, with a unique look inspired by European landscapes. The steel blue semicircle of the face reflects the beautiful and deep European lakes surrounded by stylish pine trees. The watch offers two types of optional wristbands, allowing users to customize their look.
The design of this project was created with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator software. The physical specifications include a width of 45mm, a thickness of 10mm, and a casing made of organic natural wood and recycled stainless steel. The watch features a quartz movement, sapphire-coated mineral glass, and is resistant against water splashes.
The Holzwolf wooden Watch is intended for those who like to be in constant contact with nature. The user has the option of changing the watch straps in the sporty version in synthetic leather or the more casual version in wood in two colors and brushed steel.
The project concept started in April 2021 and ended in June in Gifhorn, Germany. The research for this design focused on creating a look reminiscent of the natural regions of Europe, and the Holzwolf brand was created exclusively for this project. The design also received the Iron A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative features.
