LILI DCHI's Oak Project is a testament to sustainable fashion, blending artistry with nature's beauty. The collection, meticulously hand-woven over 100-120 hours per cape, showcases the brand's commitment to eco-friendly materials and ethical production practices. Using natural wool and cotton, the designs reflect the rich heritage of Iran, drawing inspiration from the country's art and nature.
The project, which began in April 2020 and concluded in September 2021 in Tehran, culminated in an exhibition at the Zaafaranie art studio in November 2021. The collection's unique approach to sustainable fashion production has garnered attention, earning LILI DCHI an Iron A' Design Award in 2022 for its innovative and practical creations.
LILI DCHI's founder, Leila Doroodchi, has been a trailblazer in the fashion industry, advocating for eco-friendly practices and gender justice.
