Alexey Danilin, a renowned designer from Moscow, introduces Supersymmetry, a smart and versatile lighting fixture designed to adapt to the evolving needs of modern living spaces. Inspired by the concept of supersymmetry in modern particle physics, the lamp offers a seamless transition from ambient to task lighting, catering to the demands of work, creativity, and intimate communication.

The unique design of Supersymmetry allows for a smooth transformation from a general vertical source of soft diffused light to a specific horizontal source of concentrated functional light. Engineered with magnetic elements and a bottom-centered wire bracing system, the fixture ensures stable height levels for both configurations, maintaining an equal illumination level on the table surface along with comfortable face and body backlight.

Constructed using metal, LED, acryl, and electric cable, Supersymmetry stands at a total height ranging from 550 to 1500 mm, offering flexibility and adaptability to various settings and user preferences.

Alexey Danilin's innovative lighting fixture is set to hit the market in November 2021, following an extensive development process that began in August 2020. The design is a result of thorough research aimed at addressing the challenges posed by the pandemic and post-pandemic living, offering a fine-drawn solution for living space zoning and transformation.
