Revolutionary Amusement Pub Redefines Airport Experience with Freshly Brewed Beer and Modern Aesthetics

Conception, led by renowned designer Shinjiro Heshiki, has unveiled the groundbreaking "Factory Lab" design at Helios Naha Airport Brewery, the world's first airport location offering freshly brewed beer. Inspired by the blue hues of Okinawa's sea and sky, the futuristic space combines modern aesthetics with traditional brewing elements, creating a captivating atmosphere for visitors.

The Helios Airport Brewery sets itself apart by allowing visitors to witness the brewing process firsthand, creating a live atmosphere where guests can enjoy freshly brewed beer while observing the brewing machines in action. The use of wood grain materials throughout the space enhances the natural and calming ambiance, providing a unique and immersive experience for patrons.

Utilizing innovative technology, the brewery's facade features titanium quenching style art paint on steel plates, creating a memorable and eye-catching exterior that stands out against the existing white-based wall surface. The design also incorporates a dynamic barrel sculpture made from actual barrels used at Helios Brewery, surrounded by hop artifacts and stained glass artwork, adding a playful and delicate touch to the space.

Shinjiro Heshiki's "Factory Lab" design project commenced in April 2022 and was completed in November 2022, with the grand opening taking place in December 2022 at Naha Okinawa. The project overcame various challenges, including airport regulations and technical constraints, to bring this innovative concept to life.
