Renowned designer Cameron Smith introduces the Crisscross folding chair, a groundbreaking solution for modern living spaces. Inspired by the need for flexible seating in smaller, adaptable environments, the Crisscross chair offers a high-quality, everyday seating option that can be easily stored or relocated. Unlike traditional folding chairs, the Crisscross chair boasts a unique geared mechanism concealed within the back leg, providing a synchronized folding motion that allows the entire chair to nest within its front legs, making it effortlessly portable and storable.

Constructed from bent sheet steel, machined steel parts, and steam-bent wood inlays, the Crisscross chair is finished with Alcantara ultra suede for both comfort and style. With dimensions of 23” x 23.75” x 34.5” when open and 23” x 8” x 41.5” when folded, this innovative chair offers a perfect balance of functionality and aesthetics.

Initially conceived in March 2020, the Crisscross chair underwent engineering development in the fall of 2021 and made its debut at ICFF in New York in May 2022. This pioneering design has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2023, highlighting its exceptional creativity and contribution to enhancing quality of life.
