Above Lights Presents Little Kong: A Modern Take on Oriental Aesthetics

Above Lights proudly introduces Little Kong, a series of ambient lamps that seamlessly blend traditional oriental aesthetics with modern innovation. Inspired by the relationship between virtual and real, full and empty, Little Kong is a unique fusion of form and function, offering a captivating lighting experience.

Little Kong is a testament to Above Lights' commitment to pushing the boundaries of design. The lamp skillfully hides LED beads in metal brackets, ensuring the purity inside the lampshade and presenting patterns or textures in a three-dimensional way. The use of a light guide plate (LGP) in a table light is a creative application, replacing traditional lampshades with its semi-permeable effect.

With a USB port, support for wireless charging, and the ability to turn the lamp on or off by waving a hand over the top, Little Kong offers a seamless and convenient user experience. The lamp's compact size and structure, advanced PC hot bending process for the lampshade, and aluminum alloy body showcase the meticulous attention to detail and high precision in its realization technology.

Specifications for Little Kong include a color temperature range of 2650-5250K, a luminous flux of 380lm, and a color rendering index of Ra>90. The lamp also boasts a service life of about 25,000 hours, ensuring long-lasting performance and reliability.

The Little Kong project commenced in May 2018 in Shenzhen, China, and after extensive research and development, the lamp was unveiled at the Hong Kong Lighting Fair in October 2018, receiving rave reviews. Since then, over 10,000 pieces of Little Kong have been delivered to users, bringing them joy and convenience.

Mr. Guogang Peng, the founder of Above Lights, is a materials science expert who founded the company in 2013.
