SHEN FU CHEN introduces Tai Quan Palace, a groundbreaking office space design that harmoniously combines traditional Chinese architecture with modern elements, completed on December 30th, 2019 in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SHEN FU CHEN's Tai Quan Palace challenges conventional office space design by integrating traditional Chinese architectural elements with modernism. The project features a grand entrance corridor adorned with 26,000 pieces of hand-glued gold foil, creating a luxurious yet understated ambiance. The design team meticulously crafted traditional Chinese double doors with Mortise and tenon joints, seamlessly blending ancient techniques with contemporary aesthetics.
The office space itself is a study in contrasts, with intricate details of iron and copper juxtaposed against a backdrop of simplicity. The design team's innovative use of gold color outlines the space, creating a cohesive connection amidst the contrasting elements.
Notably, Tai Quan Palace incorporates barrier-free access and a progressive floor tile design, seamlessly merging the Chinese exterior with European and American interior styles. The space culminates in a full glass partition, expanding the visual landscape and transforming the office into a living work of art.
