Yanlord Nanxing Show Apartment

Justin Bridgland and Jaycee Chui have redefined modern Chinese lifestyle with the unveiling of the Nanxing Yanlord 185A Show Apartment. Inspired by the concept of "home" as a healing space, the apartment offers a serene and elegant retreat for modern living. The 185 square meter space, located near the river Qian Tang in Hangzhou, provides a calm refuge surrounded by beautiful and quiet landscapes.

The interior design focuses on enhancing the beauty of everyday rituals, while the works of art set the style and character of the spaces. The apartment's design aims to promote a relaxed and inspiring lifestyle, catering to the need for inspiration and regeneration within the domestic walls.

Completed in 2019, the design work involved close collaboration between the designers, the client, and specialized workers. The attention to refined details and the use of light and shadow at a millimeter scale give depth to the space, showcasing the capabilities of specialized manufacturers and the beauty of each material.
