FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Introducing Puzzle, a polyurethane wall tile designed by Kamelia Terzieva, inspired by the pure geometric forms of a truncated pyramid and the endless compositions made possible by probability theory. This 3D tile is a pure, contemporary, creative, and elegant design, offering almost unlimited compositions on the wall, making it suitable for both utility and home interiors.
Manufactured as Puzzle Arstyl (R) under the brand NOÃL and MARQUET by NMC in Belgium, the tile is made from polyurethane foam, making it impact-resistant, durable, lightweight, and easy to install. With dimensions of H: 38 cm, W: 38 cm, T: 3.1 cm, the Puzzle wall tile offers 25 possible assembly schemes based on 8x8 tiles, providing ample inspiration for end clients.
Puzzle allows designers and architects to unleash their creativity by creating projects with different wall textures and surfaces. The tile can be used to cover an entire wall or to create a stand-alone panel focal point, offering endless possibilities for customization. It can be easily installed by gluing to the walls with adhesives.
The project, initiated in Sofia, Bulgaria, from April to July 2020, was developed for production by NMC's engineering in Raeren, Belgium, from July to December 2020. The design process involved extensive research and experimentation to ensure the tile's suitability for various spaces and interiors, resulting in a patented product with a unique visual conception.
Kamelia Terzieva, a Bulgarian spatial designer with a background in civil engineering, interior and exhibition design, has received accolades for her innovative approach to product design. Her Puzzle wall tile was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding creativity and contribution to quality of life improvements.
