Tension Instrument: A Revolutionary Concert Hall Design

Lihan Jin, a visionary designer, has unveiled the groundbreaking "Tension Instrument" concert hall, inspired by Dvorak’s New World Symphony. This architectural marvel is an orchestration of walls, balconies, and acoustic panels, developed from a unique architectural prototype by different scales and tectonics. The dramatic contrast of old and new creates a new cultural landmark for Prague.

The concert hall, nestled at the junction of historical and modern districts, is carefully placed with respect to programs, circulations, and urban landscape. Constructed using Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT), Concrete, and Steel, it boasts dimensions of 100m x 65m x 50m, offering a contemporary architectural masterpiece that integrates seamlessly into its surroundings.

Lihan Jin's "Tension Instrument" has been honored with the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its remarkable impact on the world of architecture and design. This revolutionary project represents a fusion of intangible music and tangible architectural space, setting a new standard for cultural landmarks.
